Lolo Knows

This has been quite a time for me in reflection. Reflection is important so that I don't lose myself, the purpose I set out to do and my truth. The world can suck you in easily with so much going on these days especially the way my life can be a fast paced roller coaster. Sometimes, you just have to get off and just sit and take it all in. I have been doing this much more lately, that it's now becoming a habitual pattern that I could not be happier to have adopted. I do not know if it is age, but one thing is certain, I have prayed to get to a point where I would just stop, breathe, and just appreciate all that is around me now in the present moment. Asking my own self, how are you? This is a great question to ask ourselves daily. Think about it! When we first greet someone, we usually ask them how they are. Whether or not,  they tell you the real truth, it's still a proper question and a real question we should ask ourselves everyday. At least we can be truthful to ...

Tuesday, July 23rd,  I have the pleasure of interviewing three regional DJs from the midwest, Jeff Ozmtz, Jayme Jay and Brian Blackbird. It's been quite a while since I updated the blog, but I am thankful you all have been following my posts and the show. It's been quite a busy, fun filled and emotional time. I am one person that is really working her hardest to get to where I need to go. What I am most grateful for is being able to wake up each day and having another opportunity to make more memories, more shows and more art. Nothing worth striving for ever comes easy, but I can appreciate the journey. I would like to share some new opportunities and developments with Lolo Knows Radio Show.                  Picture I took a few years ago of Kim and her son Devin.  I woke up this morning and found out my girl, Kim, lost her son, Devin who I wrote about his fundraiser here for his brain cancer he was fighting. I am so saddened but needed to find ways in which parents and families close to the child can cope with this type of loss. I am a mother and can only imagine how they feel as I am now dealing with my mother that is battling a stage 4 cancer in her brain. I found the following on Cancer.net that not only can help her, but surely can help me cope as well.  No parent is prepared for a child’s death, even if you have anticipated it during your child’s illness.
