Ladies, Listen Up Please!!!

  1. I can't say how true this actually is. The old saying is,  "why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?" Ladies, it's all good to give this man the best you can give but don't go out of your way to be a wife when he hasn't even given you a ring or set a date for the wedding. Wives have different duties than girlfriends. Stay in your lane!  When he is ready to move forward in your relationship, then by all means do the laundry, cook those meals, clean his house, take care of his appointments, run those errands, be his bookkeeper... You get my drift? In the meantime, your role should just simply be  enjoying your date nights, talking about your careers and building your friendship period. I know there are different strokes for different folks, but too many times I have seen women getting hurt because they put their best foot forward with no pay out in the end. Just love and be patient with yourself and trust God that he will place the right man in your life that will make it all worth it when you make him work for you. Secret to capturing a man's heart is his love of God and the faith he will put in you knowing the Universe put you there as his mate. There is no physical or outside things other than your like spirit that will make that man truly love the woman you are. Trust, believe, have faith in yourself. Let go and let God do the rest for you. I am and it's working!! #LOLOKNOWS

Counting Friendship Blessings

I have had more than my fair share of ups and downs in the last year and I am sure there will be a few hiccups to overcome this year, but having the support and love from my kids and friends has been the most wonderful testimony because the ones that are currently by my side even in my darkest days, have shown me they were my true supporters.  We need to go through those downs at times to see that  and you better know I asked the Universe to reveal them and I was pleasantly surprised by it's answer. There were folks that came out the woodworks and have literally told me that I had inspired and gave them the determination to go after their life goals and dreams and that I was their strength when they were down. My jaw dropped to the ground and my eyes have been full of tears because although there has been a battle within my own self, God wanted me to know because of what I did for others, that those same ones would be there to be my strength and guide as well. Passion vs. Effort

I hear it all the time from people on what you need to succeed.   “Follow your passion”. Here is is why I have an issue with this advice.   Everyone is passionate about something and usually more than one thing.  We are born with it. There are always going to be things we love to do like music, art, knitting, cooking etc..  The list can go on. Those passions more than likely for most are not worth a nickel. Here's why?  Think about all the things you have been passionate about in your life. Think about all those passions that you considered making a career out of or wanted to build a company around.  How many were there? Why did you bounce from one to another? Why were you not able to make a career or business out of any of those passions ?  Or, if you have been able to have some success, what was the key to the success?  Was it the passion or the effort you put in to your job or company?  If you really want to know where your destiny lies, look at where you apply your time.
