Soulmate and How You Can Tell




     How do I know I am with my soulmate? It was such a delayed feeling. I've never been in love like this. I don't think any of us really know what it is until we have it. 
     I will say this now that I know after eight months of dating and now being engaged to this man and looking back at the first time he made his move to be with me. It felt like riding a bike. Even though I have not rode a bike in years, I am sure it will just come right back to me. It feels just like that, a familiar ride, a familiar feeling. You just know. I never felt uncomfortable at any one time on our first date, I didn't question, he just flowed with me like I knew him forever, and I just felt like myself. I wasn't my representative; I was just me naturally. Our souls were at one and recognized each other by it. It felt magnetic, soulful and like this man had been my best friend forever in which he absolutely is. I asked, I believed, and received the ultimate gift the universe wants to give each of us if only we lovingly do the work on ourselves and trust it is magically making a way for you to have it yourself. Too often times we only trust in what we know and what we believe, but what about just knowing that if our way didn't work the first, the second, and third time around, that just maybe, we should just give faith a try for once. It really will surprise you and you will be sitting here like me saying, "THAT'S IT!!! That's all I had to do. Yes!!! Yes,  that's all you had to do!! "

Everybody has a Judas in their lives and sometimes several. Some are friends, but most are unfortunately in your own damn family. I can relate to Jesus. It's hurtful as shit. Counting Friendship Blessings

I have had more than my fair share of ups and downs in the last year and I am sure there will be a few hiccups to overcome this year, but having the support and love from my kids and friends has been the most wonderful testimony because the ones that are currently by my side even in my darkest days, have shown me they were my true supporters.  We need to go through those downs at times to see that  and you better know I asked the Universe to reveal them and I was pleasantly surprised by it's answer. There were folks that came out the woodworks and have literally told me that I had inspired and gave them the determination to go after their life goals and dreams and that I was their strength when they were down. My jaw dropped to the ground and my eyes have been full of tears because although there has been a battle within my own self, God wanted me to know because of what I did for others, that those same ones would be there to be my strength and guide as well. Passion vs. Effort

I hear it all the time from people on what you need to succeed.   “Follow your passion”. Here is is why I have an issue with this advice.   Everyone is passionate about something and usually more than one thing.  We are born with it. There are always going to be things we love to do like music, art, knitting, cooking etc..  The list can go on. Those passions more than likely for most are not worth a nickel. Here's why?  Think about all the things you have been passionate about in your life. Think about all those passions that you considered making a career out of or wanted to build a company around.  How many were there? Why did you bounce from one to another?
