Honoring People's Time



We live in a very busy world and there doesn't always seem to be enough time in the day to complete it all. People can even come off a little self absorbed and not really take in consideration that others are busy but have taken an opportunity to think about you while you were running around. Today's tasks may even in fact be there tomorrow. So, what's 5 minutes of your time to speak to the one that called you and thought about you in the midst of the chaos. It just might be God's way of telling you to slow down and never take for granted those other blessings that we often do and before you know it, we have lost a friend or family member because we got too busy to even give them that precious and most treasured time of the day to them. Instead we think that they will be there tomorrow or the next day. Folks, WAKE UP!!! Look around you and really observe who really is in your corner and make a conscience effort to stay there. What's up with the people that are too busy chasing people that really are not there?? It's time to do an accounting of the ones that will benefit you, personally, professionally, spiritually and GET AWAY from the ones that are just simply there for the ride, the free drinks or the opportunity when it should arise and then kick you to the curb when it's all said and done. Be kind to those that wake up and you were the person on their mind. There are so many people in this world and you so happened to be thought of by that spirit that was called to be your friend, love and to truly support who you are. Take care of those that are consciencely taking care of you and watch your world begin to take shape into the peace and happiness that God intended it to be.

Everybody has a Judas in their lives and sometimes several. Some are friends, but most are unfortunately in your own damn family. I can relate to Jesus. It's hurtful as shit. The reason this occurs is lack of real understanding and so many being so far in their own asses to ever even want to try to understand who you are and why you feel and think the way you do. It's fucked up, but that's what it is, but you know what you do have control over, how you respond or don't respond to the bullshit. Counting Friendship Blessings

I have had more than my fair share of ups and downs in the last year and I am sure there will be a few hiccups to overcome this year, but having the support and love from my kids and friends has been the most wonderful testimony because the ones that are currently by my side even in my darkest days, have shown me they were my true supporters.  We need to go through those downs at times to see that  and you better know I asked the Universe to reveal them and I was pleasantly surprised by it's answer. There were folks that came out the woodworks and have literally told me that I had inspired and gave them the determination to go after their life goals and dreams and that I was their strength when they were down. My jaw dropped to the ground and my eyes have been full of tears because although there has been a battle within my own self, God wanted me to know because of what I did for others, that those same ones would be there to be my strength and guide as well. Passion vs. Effort

I hear it all the time from people on what you need to succeed.   “Follow your passion”. Here is is why I have an issue with this advice.   Everyone is passionate about something and usually more than one thing.  We are born with it. There are always going to be things we love to do like music, art, knitting, cooking etc..  The list can go on. Those passions more than likely for most are not worth a nickel. Here's why?  Think about all the things you have been passionate about in your life. Think about all those passions that you considered making a career out of or wanted to build a company around.  How many were there? Why did you bounce from one to another?
